The Kummrow Farm has been in the Town of Summit since 1886. We, along with our three sons Jacob, Nathanael, and Noah, are proud to be the fifth generation to actively farm this property. We were the last dairy farm in our township until April 1995, when we sold the dairy herd to concentrate on raising Beef and Bison (American Buffalo).

Since 1993 we have made a commitment to raising our animals, feed and produce completely free of herbicides and chemical pesticides. We feel there are entirely too many chemicals in our diet everyday and promise to provide our customers with a natural, healthy alternative to conventionally raised livestock.

Our customers cite flavor as one of the biggest reasons they keep coming back. Our meat has it. Try it, we think you'll agree. You can't get meat like this in a supermarket!

We have recently established retail hours for doing business, but our policy still is "when we're home, we're open." Call ahead if you wish and we'll make an appointment that's convenient for you.

Please remember we are a family run business. Sometimes family activities supercede store hours. But we try our best to be here for you during these times:

Hours:

Thursday and Friday 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

or when we're home, we're open!

Attention: We will no longer accept credit cards as of October 1st, 2008
